Jesse Senko is a PhD student in biology at Arizona State University and a sustainable seafood consultant for the Blue Ocean Institute. He holds a Master of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences from the University of Connecticut. His research centers on questions at the interface of conservation science and action, with a special interest in the integration of natural and social science. Jesse employs a collaborative approach that includes working with multiple stakeholders (e.g. scientists, non-scientists, fishers) to solve real-world conservation problems and sustain the health of the world’s oceans.
