Ocean Biodiversity and Its Importance

A general science rule is to maintain biodiversity or increase it, but why do we care so much about diversity? What is affecting diversity around the world. Today, we will learn the importance of Ocean Biodiversity and the role it plays in our environment.

Dr. Martin Solan, a Senior Lecturer at the Ocean Lab at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland where he studies marine biodiversity in the sediment. Martin will be talking to us about biodiversity and more importantly a conference on Marine Biodiversity Conference that will happen in September of this year.
