In Part 4 of the interview with Kate McClellan, Assistant Scientist with the Consortium for Wildlife Bycatch, discusses circle hooks; a bycatch reduction mechanism that allows fisherman to catch more targeted species and less endangered species. She also discusses how the recreational fishermen view bycatch; the science-industry relationship and how the relationship is helping to reduce bycatch; and, why there needs to be various approaches to reducing bycatch in different places around the world.
