Language influences the way we treat the environment

Governments at various levels have the authority to zone land for different purposes such as parks and commercial/residential zoning and the government departments will work together to provide the best outlook for the area, but the way departments refer to an entity such as a habitat, may differ in how it's treated and could cause differences in how it is treated.
